Prospere Pierre Louis

Prospere Pierre-Louis was born in Bainet, in the south of Haiti, on October 12, 1947. Prosper followed Maude Robard to the community at Soisson-la-Montagne on the mountain above La Boule where he co-founded "Saint Soleil" with Tiga and Louisianne Saint-Fleurant.   When “Saint-Soleil” disbanded, Pierre-Louis organized the group, “Cinq Soleils” with Levoy Exil, Denis Smith, Dieuseul Paul and Louisiane Saint Fleurant.  One of his paintings was featured on the cover of the 1984 Port-Au-Prince telephone directory.
